We don't have many credits in our opening and we want to keep it simple with just the title of the movie (Relocation), and the production company name (NEVA Studios). At first it was hard to choose a font and decide on exactly what kind of style we wanted, however after careful deliberation and comparisons of different fonts, we decided upon a more typewriter style font called "Century". I will include examples of the different fonts that we debated on and reasons why we didn't choose them.

This is the final font that we decided to use. We liked its design and the way in which it emphasizes crispness and elegance while keeping the typewriter vibe that we wanted. It also has a dramatic air to it with a bold emphasis which works perfectly for presenting a movie title. Especially one as mysterious as ours.

We were drawn to this font at first because of how simple it is and how it looks like the classic typewriter font. Also because of the wide spacing between each of the letters it is very clear and readable for the viewer. However after testing it out and editing it into the title page, we realized that it doesn't fully fit the aesthetic because the letters look a bit too sharp and square.

This font is very similar to our final pick "Century". It has the same kinds of shapes to the letters with some small differences like the curves on the c's and a's. However it doesn't look as bold or demanding as "Century", and it looks a bit too classic which is why we didn't choose this one.

This would have also been an interesting font for us to use because it looks very different from the other options. It's much lighter and more delicate than the others and offers an interesting contrast from the darker nature of our opening. In a way, this also faults it, because it simply isn't bold enough to have the dramatic opening that we want.

We also tried out this font as it has a simple look which we also thought would be fun to experiment with. It isn't distracting or complicated, and conveys the message clearly. It is clear and legible with the right amount of boldness to the lines. We didn't end up choosing this one because it was just too simple for the title of the opening, which is supposed to be a bit more detailed and thought out.

Overall the process of finding a suitable font was much more painstaking than we initially thought it was going to be. It was actually pretty difficult to find a font that everyone approved of and actually looked like it fit into our opening. We're all very pleased with the final choice "Century", and we're glad that we came to a common conclusion.
