The first location of our film opening is inside the protagonist’s apartment and the most convenient location also holds the setting that we believe best for the way in which we want to film. We took a couple of photographs of the setting, imagining where we might place the protagonist and the camera in this space, as well as experimenting with different types of lighting.

The protagonist makes his way out of the apartment - we are thinking the scene continues either in the same physical location (the apartment building) OR in the parking garage in which we want to film later on. Both settings hold the atmosphere of what we wish to express; we can experiment in both these locations once we get around to filming and decide which is most suitable.

The first transition of locations is into a forest. The forest we chose to be both suitable and accessible for filming is the Făget forest, which is near one of our teammates. It’s not that populated by people; it’s cleared out so there won't be that much of a risk when the protagonist and cameramen are running around. There’s enough light coming through the trees and bushes that we'll be able to film in the afternoon and still have visible shots.

The next transition would be into the parking garage, still during the day/late afternoon. This location has openings on the landings which allows enough light to come in, alongside automatic lights that turn on above once it’s dark out. This gives us the liberty to test shots both during the afternoon and as the sun starts to set. The location is open and daunting, clearly illustrating the overall feeling imagined.

After this comes Someș River, a location that merges our two main environments into a single location. Filming what we imagined in the script will be a matter of experimentation because we have to find the perfect spot along the river in order to follow the series of

events happening.

For the final sequence, we wanted to film in a place that is constricted by walls, giving it the impression that it is small and cramped; claustrophobic. The protagonist would be scared and stuck in this location, telling the audience that he is trapped there with no way to escape, prepared for the ending where he’s ready to face his pursuer. For this, we looked around apartment buildings in the area, scouting out alleyways and tight locations.
