For my preliminary work, I plan to do a photoshoot that will be later on edited into a grid and a video. I am going to take a lot of photos that when put together will look like a stop motion movie. And then I will select some of the pictures and use them for a grid.

When coming up with a story for the photoshoot I was inspired by the book "Your name". I adapted the story a little and ended up with this version of it: Long lost lovers that find each other again and they get closer and closer to each other and when they're about to touch they disappear. Both of them being in the same place at the same time but the only way they feel connected is by feeling the presence of each other in that moment.

Also, in order to make it more unique, I want to make it a gender-bend photoshoot, not following gender normalities. The male lead will wear a dress and platform shoes while the female lead will be wearing a suit.

When deciding on a location I turned to my friends for suggestions. And I decided on this location with abandoned pools that I had previously visited so there is no need for me to go see it again.

After the photoshoot, I plan to put all the pictures together one after the other to create this effect of a stop motion movie and then take some of the pictures put them into a grid so that, arranged together they tell a story. I also plan on editing the photos by changing their saturation levels to make the viewers feel emotions, going from sadness to excitement and back to sadness.
